What is Adaptive Peaks?

Adaptive Peaks is an inclusive outdoor adventure company based in Canmore, Alberta. We provide adaptive experiences in but limited to, biking, skiing, climbing, and hiking for people with disabilities. Our programs are therapy-driven, community-rooted, and designed to empower everyone to enjoy the mountains.

Who can participate in your programs?

Our programs are designed for children and adults with physical, cognitive, or sensory disabilities. But all are welcome! We welcome beginners and experienced adventurers alike, and we work with each participant to create a customized, safe, and fun experience.

Are your programs therapy-based?

Yes! We collaborate with your existing therapy team, including occupational, behavioral, speech, physical, and educational therapists, to create a program that supports your goals. Our activities are designed to complement therapy by reinforcing skills in a fun, real-world setting

Can I donate to support a participant?

Yes! We gratefully accept donations that go directly toward subsidizing lessons, equipment, and transportation for participants in need. Your donation can make a mountain dream come true. Donate now by e-transfer to Adaptivepeakscanmore@gmail.com
