Our goal is simple: to help individuals of all abilities embrace challenges, unlock their full potential, and keep moving forward—because when we move, we grow.

Ross Billings / T6 Paraplegic
“After a serious injury a few years ago, I thought my days of outdoor adventure were behind me. I had spent my life skiing, biking, and canoeing, but after my accident, I struggled to find activities that felt both exciting and accessible. Then I found Adaptive Peaks.
I felt truly supported. Irene understood my challenges and worked with me to adapt the experience so I could get back to doing what I love. Their knowledge, patience, and encouragement made all the difference. I never thought I’d be back on the trails again, but here I am— in nature, moving, and feeling like myself again.
If you’re someone who misses adventure but needs a little extra support to get back out there, I can’t recommend Adaptive Peaks enough. They gave me more than just an activity—they gave me confidence, freedom, and a renewed love for the outdoors.”

“Working with Adaptive Peaks is literally life changing. Irene Hutcheon worked closely with my daughter and her team to create life and recreation goals. The result was outstanding. My daughter is severely impacted by autism and shared dreams of skiing, hiking and rock climbing we not only realized but surpassed. Respect and independence are key pieces to Irene's strategies.
Adaptive peaks led by Irene; not only fostered trust and ability it created a fun and safe environment for our daughter to flourish. The whole family is healthier as a result of their hard work!”
